Swazzle Inc. is a Glendale, CA-based puppet company founded in 2004 by twin brothers Sean and Patrick Johnson. Swazzle offers a wide range of services, including live puppet shows, puppet rentals, custom-designed and -built puppets, and puppet production services. Swazzle also produces original puppet content for stage and screen.
Swazzle has created more than 20 original traveling puppet shows, which have been performed at libraries, schools and special events throughout California. Swazzle’s signature large-scale theater productions, The Little Prince and the bilingual family musical Dream Carver, have been presented at theaters and performing arts centers across the United States.
Swazzle offers a wide range of rental puppets, including two full sets of man-eating Audrey II puppets for Little Shop of Horrors, four full sets of puppets for Avenue Q, and a dragon and a gingerbread man for Shrek the Musical. The puppets are rented to high schools, colleges and theatres nationally and internationally.
Swazzle’s team of professional puppet designers and builders has constructed custom puppets for film, television, new media and the stage. Some notable projects include The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway, The Simpsons and The Aquarium of the Pacific's Pacific Pals.
Swazzle served as puppet producers for Cartoon Network's Pillywags Mansion and the puppet segments for Amazon Studio’s animated series Little Big Awesome.
